Located in an urban jungle that is a microcosm of the world, also known as New York City, Pangea Film Festival was founded to unite people of all backgrounds using film. Hoping to provide both filmmakers and viewers exposure to new perspectives by the conclusion of the festival, founder Avery Kim created this festival in 2016 as a means to expand our understanding of ourselves, others, and the world. Most importantly, this could not occur alone; it occurs together.
